POST-OP POST

Hi everyone

A BIG thank you to everyone who left good wishes on my blog post of last week, also to friends and family who have been so lovely over the last few days.

Operation all over and done with, so relieved!  Stayed in overnight as there were problems with my blood pressure and oxygen levels, but came home on Friday afternoon.  Lumps and bits all safely removed and I will get the results of the analysis in appx 6 weeks time, but have been told 99.9% benign so I am not going to worry (okay will probably worry a little).

Moving on time now.  This is a short post as I am still tired and tend to drop off to sleep every so often - stress, worry, anaesthetic?  Not sure but as I cannot lift anything, bend over or drive a car for two weeks I am taking time to recover.  I have a wedding fayre in two weeks time so really want to be fit and well for that.  Prior to my hospital stay I spent some time making up new designs - not fully completed so no pics today, but next week definitely.

A short post, but a reminder to visit the other bloggers taking part in Handmade Monday and of course, well done Andy Murray.  What a match!  See you all next week.

Jill

  4. It's nice to hear that you're coming along okay and taking it easy. I'd say try and not worry, but that would be impossible, so I'll just wish you a lovely week :-)

  11. Glad to see your recovering well, it's a pain not being able to drive for two weeks isn't it, not that your probably feeling up to it yet.

Don't overdo it, take this first week for total rest before you start worrying about work, that's why your not supposed to do anything, the more you rest the quicker you'll recover.

If you need anything give me a yell,

Nurse Badger is sending you some healing vibes.
